Listened to Flight b741by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard while churning out an assignment. It was pretty nice, I had listened to some songs from it beforehand, like “Le risque”, but most of it was pretty new. Interesting experience, what do you call this genre, 80s blues? I don’t know. But it sounded so “positive” and “fresh”. To put the cherry on top I listened to it in the morning (yes I had a nice day ahead).
Man, it’s so hard to pick a favorite from this album. The vibes are so so so good! Mirage City’s tunes had blessed my brain with a slush of dopamine for about three straight days after my initial listen. And Le Risque is so funny! And I have a crush on Antarctica (take me away!), I can’t pick a favorite.
Easily an album you should come back to when you feel depressed/want to be happy. A celebration of the “silliness” of life.
