I listened to this a while ago, but today I created an Obsidian base to keep track of all the albums I had listened to, so I am adding the backlog right now. This was a great album. I remember that when I listened to it for the first time, I didn’t like it all that much, but later I absolutely loved it. My favorite song was Set. I liked the extended mixes too. The most “intense” song and definitely a contender for the top spot is definitely swan song. Gligamesh was also good. My least favorite track was the titular one - the silver cord. I was not a fan of Joey’s altered vocals.
I am hesitating to rate albums since that requires a benchmark I would need to compare these to, which I don’t want to. Maybe I could devise my own rating system with “good”, “bad”, “great” and “really bad” as well as “average”. Okay, I might want to try that here.
Apart from that, I have listened to level 5 and I can’t wait for the next electronic album by gizz.
